Little Things

Today’s post is brought to you by a keen eye for simple blessings…

1. Fresh flowers from the yard inside of vintage glass and a brand new bottle!  The clay piece on the right of the card is handmade by Jury Smith.  If you like what you see, you can get your own one of a kind creation at The Bottle Shop!  Even though I saw it and selected it online, I was still amazed at the small and perfect bottle that was in the package on my doorstep today!

2. Kitchen alchemy!  The slow and deliberate reduction of balsamic vinegar.  I love knowing that the small jar of “black gold” is now waiting in the fridge.

3.  Enough strawberries from the garden for everyone to share!  We put them on a plate with some brie, almonds and TAZA Chocolate!

4.  Jazz by candle light.  And last but not least…

5.  The Circle of Life.  Things that grow!  Here is my kidlet with the first strawberry from our plant.  If you want a little extra smile, take a peek at Arrow Acres Farm!  I’ve mentioned them before.  Chris’ brother Nick and his wife Liz help her family out with their farm.  Last year, they went a new direction and acquired a herd of alpacas.  Liz, her sisters and their families all help take care of them and it’s a lot of fun visiting and seeing them in person!  Two of their females have been expecting and one of them gave birth today!  Check out their farm blog and meet Sacajawea!

Happy June!  It is truly starting to feel like summer!!!
